Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, IT, or related fields.
- 2+ years in an informal leadership role working with project or technical teams.
- 3+ years of experience in IT incident management, including development/deployment of remediation plans.
- 3+ years of experience in large scale cyber security data analytics.
- 3+ years of experience researching, developing, and implementing data-driven threat detection capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience in cyber security threat research.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, Mathematics, or related field.
- Security certification (Security+, CISSP, or CISA).
Responsibilities
- Lead the investigation and triage of security events across multiple domains.
- Lead complex data analyses in support of security event management processes, including root cause analysis.
- Coordinate the response and resolution of high impact or critical cyber security incidents.
- Lead the deployment of threat detection capabilities and/or incident response plans, including after-hours support and coordination.
- Drive the execution of incident detection and/or handling processes, including containment, protection, and remediation activities.
- Communicate investigative findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Contribute to threat detection, incident response, and use‑case development.
- Identify security gaps and recommend improvements to leadership.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate across engineering and operations.
