Requirements
- 10+ years of combined legal experience, with significant time in-house at a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
- Qualified solicitor.
- Significant experience leading or playing a central role in M&A transactions from due diligence through to completion.
- Deep background in corporate law, commercial transactions, and legal risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage litigation and disputes through external counsel.
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to balance legal risk with business pragmatism.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex legal matters for non-legal stakeholders.
- Comfort navigating multi-jurisdictional legal environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex M&A activity across the Western region, managing the full transaction lifecycle.
- Negotiate high-value commercial agreements and enterprise contracts to support strategic business initiatives.
- Develop and manage legal governance frameworks and risk management policies for international operations.
- Direct external counsel to manage litigation, dispute resolution, and intellectual property matters.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, Product, and People teams to provide commercially focused legal advice.
- Collaborate with APAC legal teams to ensure cross-border alignment and support international expansion.
