Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leading complex software development projects.
- Proficiency in languages/frameworks including Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Go, Ruby, Scala, R, and SQL.
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features such as recommendation engines, NLP, or computer vision.
- Demonstrated ability to solve architecture-level concerns regarding scalability, security, and performance.
- Experience with automated testing, debugging, and refactoring existing codebases.
- Proficiency with Git, macOS/Linux environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong skills in mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and empathic stakeholder communication.
- Knowledge of AI-assistive development tools for tasks like scaffolding, debugging, and test generation.
- Nice to have: Expertise in platform engineering, data engineering (e.g., Databricks), DevSecOps, MLOps, or Infrastructure as Code.
- Nice to have: Experience with agentic systems (e.g., RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen).
Responsibilities
- Lead high-stakes consulting engagements from discovery through production.
- Manage architecture and software design discussions with clients and teams.
- Collaborate on systems involving the full ML lifecycle, including data ingestion, modeling, and deployment.
- Maintain high-level project roadmaps and ensure healthy, prioritized backlogs for the team.
- Mentor colleagues and lead internal or client-facing workshops.
- Provide regular status updates to clients, identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Model the company culture and contribute to team health through active feedback and retrospectives.
