Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven experience building and operating AI/ML systems in production environments.
- Deep technical leadership experience including setting architectural direction and mentoring teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with AI/LLM technologies including RAG, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks.
- Expertise in Node.js and proficiency in Python.
- Significant experience with cloud-native development on AWS including Serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of compliance and auditability requirements in financial services.
- Ability to contribute to full-stack development using React where needed.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and manage architectural risk for a product squad as a technical co-leader.
- Drive the adoption of AI coding tools throughout the full SDLC including planning, testing, and deployment.
- Deliver production-grade code using Node.js, Python, and React within an event-driven AWS environment.
- Mentor and grow engineers across both AI and full-stack domains through code reviews and pair programming.
- Collaborate with platform teams to contribute reusable patterns and shared capabilities.
- Ensure all systems are built to be compliant-by-design, auditable, and suitable for FCA-regulated financial services.
