Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- In the absence of a degree, three (3) or more years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in compliance, investigations, auditing, higher education administration, operations, or quality assurance.
- Demonstrated ability to organize information and manage competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and professional judgment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to learn new concepts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience in higher education or regulatory environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance reviews, audits, risk assessments, and monitoring activities using established frameworks.
- Assist with compliance investigations by gathering facts, collecting evidence, conducting interviews, and documenting findings.
- Perform reviews of records and processes to identify potential compliance concerns or control gaps.
- Maintain organized, confidential records related to investigations, audits, and corrective action activities.
- Track corrective actions, remediation plans, and follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution.
- Support audit readiness by gathering documentation, scheduling meetings, and maintaining materials.
- Analyze information from investigations and audits to identify patterns, trends, and recurring concerns.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and dashboards for Compliance leadership review.
- Collaborate across departments to support compliance initiatives and consistent process application.
- Assist with administration of compliance systems, workflow tools, and risk tracking mechanisms.
