Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, including senior leadership roles.
- Deep technical proficiency in applied AI and agentic architectures.
- Proven experience building and scaling developer platforms, internal engineering systems, and CI/CD tooling.
- Ability to design systemic, long-term platforms rather than point solutions.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and context design.
- Knowledge of developer-facing API/platform design and usage-based cost models.
- Proven capability to drive organization-wide adoption of new workflows and standards.
- Experience operating inside compliance constraints such as PCI or SOX.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the core platform enabling AI-native development, including model access layers, agent orchestration, and internal AI marketplaces.
- Design and implement AI-driven workflows that convert PRDs and design specs into executable code, tests, and documentation.
- Re-architect developer experience across inner and outer loops to reduce friction in CI/CD, local development, and deployment.
- Transition individual AI tool usage into standardized org-wide workflows, playbooks, and training.
- Define and monitor north-star metrics, owning model-cost optimization, routing, and governance.
- Build and lead a specialized organization focused on AI platform engineering and agent systems.
- Manage human-facing developer experience, including the Developer Portal, service catalogs, and template libraries.
- Architect for portability by ensuring the harness layer remains model-agnostic and evaluating open-weight and self-hosted options.
