Requirements
- 7+ years of experience planning, executing, and monitoring clinical trials across multiple phases of development.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant healthcare experience considered.
- Strong understanding of clinical drug development, trial monitoring, and clinical study execution processes.
- In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, and clinical trial compliance standards.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing teams within clinical research environments.
- Proven ability to manage performance, productivity, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Experience partnering with clinical trial sites and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong project management, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Risk-Based Monitoring (RBM) and Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM).
- Comfortable using clinical trial technologies, systems, and emerging AI-enabled tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 65%, primarily domestically.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Clinical Research Associates supporting multiple clinical development programs.
- Drive team performance against quality, productivity, enrollment, and monitoring delivery objectives.
- Provide targeted coaching, training, and co-monitoring support to strengthen monitoring excellence.
- Promote a culture focused on compliance, ethics, patient safety, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support enrollment goals, data quality, issue resolution, and study execution.
- Manage employee performance, development planning, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Support audit and inspection readiness activities, including corrective and preventive action implementation.
- Ensure adherence to clinical trial protocols, regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice standards, and internal procedures.
