Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience building or maintaining native iOS apps using Swift and Objective-C.
- Proven experience owning substantial features or complex technical systems.
- Strong proficiency with Xcode, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Experience managing network state and persistence using Core Data or SQLite.
- Deep understanding of diagnosing async behaviors, networking issues, and simulator vs. device differences.
- Proficiency with Xcode Instruments to address bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI hitches.
- Experience with automated UI testing and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong ownership of the full development lifecycle from planning to post-release support.
- Ability to communicate complex technical details and tradeoffs clearly in written English.
- Must be able to work 9-5 Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain features across the iOS application, from UI to network and database layers.
- Partner with the team to translate product requirements into technical and UX solutions.
- Write and maintain automated UI tests to ensure product quality.
- Use Xcode Instruments to profile app performance, memory usage, and UI responsiveness.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues using crash reports, logs, and analytics.
- Collaborate with Android and server-side engineering peers to ensure data synchronization and API stability.
