Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, climate studies, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience working with climate impact metrics, sustainability frameworks, or impact assessment.
  • Strong understanding of climate change, including mitigation, adaptation, resilience, and impact measurement approaches.
  • Experience conducting research, analyzing information, and developing structured frameworks or tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with founders and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, organize information effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar analytical tools.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and critical analysis of impact frameworks, methodologies, and measurement tools relevant to climate technology.
  • Work directly with startup founders to understand business models, define impact boundaries, and identify relevant impact indicators and metrics.
  • Develop, customize, and improve impact assessment tools using platforms such as Microsoft Excel to support different startup use cases and sectors.
  • Analyze climate impact approaches related to mitigation, adaptation, and resilience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, meeting notes, and project trackers to capture insights and support execution.
  • Translate discussions and research findings into clear recommendations and actionable project outcomes.
  • Support the planning and coordination of events, workshops, and training sessions focused on impact measurement and climate innovation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal toolkits and resources used by climate technology organizations.
