Requirements
- 4–6 years in data/analytics roles with significant financial or accounting reporting experience.
- Expert SQL proficiency.
- Experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouses.
- Demonstrated ability to read, refactor, and document legacy queries and stored procedures.
- Direct experience working with external auditors, preferably Big-4 statutory audits.
- Experience in documenting business processes, reporting logic, and functional requirements.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python.
- Experience producing month-end close, tax, and regulatory reporting.
- Mindset focused on standardization, scalability, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage queries and data logic for monthly close, tax reporting, reserve/provisioning, and cash-rollforward schedules.
- Deliver external audit support, including loan-level listings and ad-hoc auditor requests.
- Ensure end-to-end report traceability and maintain documentation to audit-ready standards.
- Migrate reporting from legacy infrastructure to version-controlled dbt models.
- Maintain a single source of truth for all accounting master reports.
- Perform reconciliation for loan-level, cash-rollforward, and partner/channeling activities.
- Execute fast-turnaround regulatory reporting for multi-market entities.
