Requirements
- 3+ years in an analytics role such as Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Business Analyst, or Analytics Engineer.
- Proven experience as a direct analytics partner to Marketing, Sales, or Finance.
- Strong SQL proficiency with experience working directly in data warehouses.
- Experience owning datasets and dashboards utilized by non-technical teams.
- Comfortable working in version-controlled repositories using git, branches, and pull requests.
- Experience working with AI agents and ability to verify AI-generated answers.
- Strong written communication skills for articulating data limits and caveats.
- Ability to operate in environments with ambiguous requirements and create structure.
- Curiosity and a drive to understand business metrics at a deep domain level.
Responsibilities
- Partner regularly with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Product teams to understand goals and metrics.
- Own analysis end to end from clarifying questions to delivering actionable insights.
- Deeply document subscription domain knowledge, metric definitions, and data caveats.
- Build trusted analytics assets including dbt models and LookML explores.
- Utilize and contribute to internal AI agent tooling by curating semantic context and ensuring accuracy.
- Contribute to data platform maintenance, including pipeline improvements and debugging.
- Translate business context into robust analysis and complex data findings into actionable language.
