Requirements
- Degree in mathematics, computer science, or related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in the complete software development lifecycle.
- 7+ years of programming experience, preferably in Python or Java.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design and architecture of large distributed systems on cloud platforms.
- Experience working with distributed data and ML technologies like MapReduce, Spark, Flink, Kafka, PySpark, or SageMaker.
- Proven experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Adept at tackling highly complex, ambiguous, or undefined problems.
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent ML experience preferred.
- Experience dealing with real-world large-scale datasets preferred.
- Experience delivering end-to-end ML solutions (data prep, training, tuning, deployment) preferred.
- Experience developing ML optimization techniques in PyTorch and CUDA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive an innovative vision for products and platforms as a thought leader.
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Participate hands-on in technical strategy, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Craft high-performance, production-ready machine learning code for real-time ML platforms.
- Lead solutions to accelerate model development, validation, and experimentation in production.
- Mentor and develop team members while establishing technical direction.
- Champion operational and process improvements for high-performance systems.
