Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years, or a PhD.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6/7/8.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing Windows-based servers and workstation environments.
- Experience with VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, VCSA, and ESXi environments.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks, vulnerability remediation, and security configuration standards.
- Ability to meet Department of Defense Information Assurance Technical (DoD IAT) requirements.
- Active Secret clearance or higher.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of engineers by providing technical direction, prioritization, and daily task coordination aligned with program objectives.
- Maintain and improve Agile development and operational workflows to support efficient engineering execution.
- Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and workstations across multiple versions.
- Manage Windows Server and workstation environments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Administer and support VMware vSphere environments, including VCSA and ESXi infrastructure.
- Develop automation solutions using scripting and configuration management tools such as PowerShell, Python, and Ansible.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity compliance processes using security frameworks, scanning tools, and remediation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify issues, implement improvements, and maintain system performance.
