Requirements
- Experience leading a team of developers through successful delivery of software products.
- Experience delivering microservice-driven, scalable, cloud-based applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Java, TypeScript, Ruby, or Python.
- Professional experience in agile development and continuous delivery best practices.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to personally coach, mentor, and drive individuals and teams.
- Strong passion for continuous learning and improvement.
- A quality-driven mindset with a focus on software scalability and resilience.
Responsibilities
- Guide, motivate, and grow a team of software developers solving complex financial services problems.
- Manage the team through direct collaboration and mentorship of Technical Lead Staff Engineers.
- Work with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to align on team priorities and roadmaps.
- Identify, communicate, and remove impediments and risks to delivery.
- Plan and support professional growth for team members through 1-1s, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Report on team progress and status to engineering leadership.
- Hire top talent for the team and organization.
- Provide technical and process guidance during delivery.
