Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, event management, membership operations, or a related field.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency with digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration platforms, CRM systems, and event/project management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Native-level English fluency required.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a demonstrated focus on quality, results, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to travel within Canada and occasionally internationally, including to the United States.
- Valid passport required.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent in-person and virtual events, coordinating timelines, deliverables, action items, and progress updates with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations, business development, and marketing teams to ensure successful event planning and execution using project management tools.
- Coordinate key elements of major conferences, including proposal processes, educational content collection, speaker coordination, and agenda development.
- Support event logistics by working with venues, technology providers, suppliers, and other external partners.
- Provide on-site event support when required, ensuring a high-quality and service-focused experience for attendees and partners.
- Partner with registration teams to support event registration processes, reporting, and data management.
- Collect and analyze post-event feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance future programs.
- Support membership growth and retention initiatives by managing inquiries, renewals, invoicing, reporting, and community engagement activities.
- Analyze membership data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement while supporting targeted engagement campaigns.
