Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
- Experience owning at least one system end-to-end as the primary technical lead.
- Proficiency in front-end and data visualization engineering (e.g., React/TypeScript).
- Expertise in unclassified-to-secure software delivery paths for air-gapped environments.
- Strong ability to translate non-technical customer needs into software architecture and requirements.
- Experience leading small teams and coordinating across diverse technical and mission-focused roles.
- Demonstrated ability to write and review code while leading engineering efforts.
- US Citizenship required.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites, HQ, and vendor facilities.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, architecture, delivery, and deployment of mission-critical software systems.
- Gather and translate customer and end-user requirements into actionable technical designs and project plans.
- Lead a small software team, setting technical vision and ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, and quality.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with program managers, subject-matter experts, and data scientists.
- Manage the transition of software from unclassified environments to secure government networks, ensuring data/schema parity.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD practices including security scanning and automated testing.
