Requirements
- 8+ years building and shipping production software.
- Experience as the senior technical voice owning a system end-to-end.
- Front-end and data visualization engineering experience (e.g., React/TypeScript).
- Proven experience with unclassified-to-secure delivery in government or air-gapped environments.
- Strong architecture instincts and ability to translate non-technical customer needs into design.
- Experience partnering with optimization scientists and data-science teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and coordinate across multiple functional roles.
- Experience with sensible CI/CD hygiene and security scanning practices.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Own the software design, architecture, delivery, and deployment for a dedicated program.
- Gather requirements from customers and end-users and translate them into actionable design and implementation plans.
- Represent engineering interests to customers, specifically regarding software integration into secure networks.
- Coordinate cross-functional work between PMs, SMEs, data scientists, and operations researchers.
- Drive the technical vision and maintain alignment across the program.
- Lead a small software team and define 'done' for program deliverables.
- Manage the unclassified-to-secure delivery path, including CI/CD hygiene, security scanning, and data contract management.
