Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, energy, policy, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of total work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of supervision and leadership of multigenerational teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with program implementation and growth, ideally in demand response and/or storage program administration.
- Familiarity with the North American solar market, ideally with a focus on Illinois and/or income-qualified offerings.
- Proven track record managing operational, implementation, or product teams to deliver client outcomes.
- Experience working with software development teams and bridging the gap between client needs and technical timelines.
- Demonstrated outstanding problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- Experience leading contract negotiations and renewals with clients.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost management, and maximizing profitability.
- Ability to travel to Chicago at least once per quarter.
Responsibilities
- Oversee successful delivery of a large solar program market outreach team to achieve goals, execute deliverables on time and budget, and deliver high client satisfaction.
- Develop strong cross-department coordination with the information systems team to develop, maintain and enhance custom software used for program implementation.
- Monitor program performance metrics, budgets, and timelines, while identifying and addressing risks or bottlenecks.
- Lead, manage, and motivate internal staff and subcontractors, including performance management and workload distribution.
- Maintain and develop client and partner relationships to ensure service excellence.
- Collaborate with department leadership to align goals with organizational strategy and growth targets.
- Support business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and contribute to proposal strategy.
- Represent the company as a visible thought leader through client engagement, industry conferences, and boards.
