Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience.
- Proven ability to lead high-quality product development using an agile methodology.
- Experience interpreting and leveraging user research, usability testing, and data analytics to validate decisions.
- Strong product judgment, including knowing when to prototype versus when to code.
- Ability to write effective product strategy documentation and feature specifications.
- Strong communication skills and experience managing internal and external project stakeholders.
- Ability to facilitate effective conversations and make trade-off decisions at key inflection points.
- Ability to manage day-to-day delivery while connecting progress to a long-term vision.
- Passion for the mission of improving government services.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Set product strategy for the product or program area.
- Partner with the Program manager and other cross-disciplinary team members to define overall project or program strategy.
- Communicate product vision and strategy to the team with clarity.
- Drive external stakeholder alignment with the product vision and strategy.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to test and develop new solutions for underserved communities.
- Collaborate with other leaders to identify risks and determine mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering and other team leads to develop and evolve team processes.
- Model constructive communication and active listening within the team environment.
