Requirements
- Strong backend and platform engineering experience (Python, Django, APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, queues, jobs).
- Fullstack production proficiency with TypeScript and React.
- Experience building workflow systems, developer platforms, or complex enterprise SaaS for technical customers.
- Ability to think in contracts, interfaces, and lifecycle management.
- Strong judgment in customer experience, API design, and observability.
- High agency and ability to clarify ambiguous problems.
- Experience integrating AI tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex effectively while maintaining code quality.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and explain design tradeoffs.
- Comfortable working with and gathering feedback from technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Build contracts for agent execution, including typed inputs, structured outputs, streaming status, retries, logs, and auditability.
- Develop and maintain Python/Django platform services, durable APIs, and service boundaries.
- Implement Kubernetes-backed deployment patterns, scaling, isolation, and observability for AI workflows.
- Build fullstack interfaces for customers to configure, run, inspect, and debug AI workflows.
- Develop secure, permission-aware data access, indexing, and retrieval systems.
- Improve developer experience, testing harnesses, and diagnostics to enable rapid team velocity.
