Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A/B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
- 3-5 years of industry experience and/or training.
- Fluent in residential construction practices and distribution channels.
- Strong working knowledge of project workflow from architect/engineer to contractor.
- Sales and account management experience with a proven track record of sales/profit growth.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to lead captivating workshops.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using CRM software (Salesforce) and ERP systems (SAP).
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills to interpret technical instructions.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% domestically.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and understand competitive market conditions and industry trends relative to builders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, and subcontractors in the Southeast territory.
- Lead and facilitate training sessions and workshops for customers.
- Collaborate with internal management, product teams, and sales representatives to coordinate sales strategies and programs.
- Assist local sales representatives with implementing and enhancing the effectiveness of the Builder Program.
- Participate in trade shows, association meetings, and committee events.
- Maintain consistent CRM management and accurate business planning.
