Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A/B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred.
- 3-5 years of industry experience and/or training.
- Fluency in residential construction practices and distribution channels.
- Strong working knowledge of project workflow from architect/engineer to the contractor.
- Sales and account management experience with a proven track record of sales/profit growth preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and SAP ERP or ability to learn new systems.
- Demonstrated presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
- Ability to occasionally lift or push up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and understand competitive market conditions and industry trends relative to builders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with builders and contractors in the assigned region.
- Work with individuals at all levels within builder organizations to identify new opportunities and respond to requests.
- Lead and participate in training sessions and workshops, including scheduling, promotion, and presentation.
- Collaborate with internal management, sales, and marketing teams to develop sales strategies and communicate market intelligence.
- Assist local sales representatives in implementing and enhancing the effectiveness of the Builder Program.
- Promote the company at trade shows and industry association meetings.
