Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a sales position.
- Proven ability to succeed in a competitive, quota-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high activity standards.
- Strong consultative sales approach with exceptional prospecting and research skills.
- Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree strongly desired.
- Ability to travel to prospective client sites.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle sales objections.
Responsibilities
- Generate net-new business opportunities with current clients leveraging industry knowledge.
- Schedule and present Paylocity solutions to clients with 500 or more employees.
- Prepare, present, and follow up on sales proposals.
- Create and maintain executive-level relationships to drive feature adoption.
- Secure quarterly touch points to determine needs for additional services.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth client transitions.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and events to promote services.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
