Requirements
- BA/BS in life sciences OR BA/BS in English with experience in pharmaceutical agency, medical communications, or healthcare advertising.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry.
- Experience with managed markets promotional content development.
- Command of American Medical Association (AMA) style.
- Strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong proficiency with scientific search engines including PubMed and Google Scholar.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific concepts for managed care audiences.
- Strong analytic, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize deadline-sensitive projects.
Responsibilities
- Support content development needs as oversight for multiple large books of business.
- Independently develop and lead Clinical Services department initiatives such as onboarding, student recruitment, or innovation.
- Resolve escalated issues between internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the medical lead for brand planning, strategic development, and tactical plans.
- Develop and maintain account-specific Clinical Services standard operating procedures.
- Plan and allocate resources across accounts and workstreams.
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to direct and indirect reports.
