Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with a focus on internal audit.
- Deep knowledge of the internal audit leader or Chief Audit Executive role.
- Experience with internal audit technology solutions, such as audit management software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead internal risk assessment and audit planning processes.
- Experience developing audit coverage strategies for emerging risks.
- Strong research and writing ability with excellence in synthesizing data.
- Proven executive presence with the ability to establish credibility.
- Strong verbal proficiency and presentation skills for large and small-scale engagements.
- Ability to work independently within a matrixed, multicultural global team.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Create innovative and highly leveraged must-have insights content.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations to address complex client audit and risk challenges.
- Perform in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers and drive strategy.
- Represent Gartner research methodology and strategies to executives and stakeholders.
- Deliver high-value presentations at Gartner events and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with peers in the Assurance Practice and across the Insights community.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Provide sales support by serving as a voice of the market to drive client engagement.
