Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong track record of delivering production-level applications.
- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend distributed systems.
- 3+ years of experience working with microservice architectures and scalable service-based systems.
- Strong full-stack development expertise with TypeScript, including experience with React or similar frontend frameworks and Node.js or similar backend technologies.
- Proven experience building scalable platforms, frameworks, or systems that are used by other engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, performance optimization, and engineering best practices.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices.
- Ability to manage complex priorities, make decisions independently, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance exploration, innovation, and decisive execution.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement scalable full-stack solutions that improve platform performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Lead technical initiatives across frontend and backend systems, making strategic decisions around architecture, technology investments, and engineering practices.
- Build and maintain developer platforms, frameworks, and services that enable engineering teams to deliver products efficiently.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers by promoting strong coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, analytics teams, and other stakeholders to define requirements, validate solutions, and deliver impactful features.
- Participate in product discovery by assessing technical feasibility, exploring user needs, and supporting experimentation through prototypes.
- Develop and improve observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance tracking.
- Establish and improve engineering workflows, CI/CD processes, testing practices, and development tools.
