Requirements
- Medical degree required.
- Board-certified dermatologist.
- Minimum 1 year experience in CRO or pharmaceutical industry in clinical research.
- Experience as medical monitor, medical reviewer, or drug safety physician in clinical trials is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of the drug development process.
- Proficiency in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA/Health Canada regulations.
- Strong ability to interpret high volumes of data independently.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Support Medical Monitoring plan development and study protocol activities.
- Enter medical queries in EDC after lead medical monitor reviews subject safety data.
- Review adverse events, medical history, and concomitant medications for proper coding.
- Conduct photo reviews and monitor efficacy scores for assigned studies.
- Support business development with proposals and sales presentations.
- Draft standard operating procedures and documentation related to medical monitoring.
- Coordinate team meetings, trainings, and maintain study tracking systems.
