Requirements

  • Medical degree required.
  • Board-certified dermatologist.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in CRO or pharmaceutical industry in clinical research.
  • Experience as medical monitor, medical reviewer, or drug safety physician in clinical trials is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of the drug development process.
  • Proficiency in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA/Health Canada regulations.
  • Strong ability to interpret high volumes of data independently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Support Medical Monitoring plan development and study protocol activities.
  • Enter medical queries in EDC after lead medical monitor reviews subject safety data.
  • Review adverse events, medical history, and concomitant medications for proper coding.
  • Conduct photo reviews and monitor efficacy scores for assigned studies.
  • Support business development with proposals and sales presentations.
  • Draft standard operating procedures and documentation related to medical monitoring.
  • Coordinate team meetings, trainings, and maintain study tracking systems.
