Requirements
- BS/BA college degree or relevant experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern web technologies including React, Node.js, Tailwind.css, Next.js, and Remix.
- Solid grasp of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Extensive experience designing APIs.
- Deep understanding of monorepo management and associated architectural patterns.
- Experience balancing Developer Experience (DX) with platform-native technologies.
- Commitment to establishing paved paths and self-service capabilities for code building and deployment.
- Proven ability to connect the dots across multiple engineering teams and mentor other engineers.
- Proactive embrace of AI and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering innovation across the entire company.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Spearhead research initiatives to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Guide the approach and execution of a particular team or group of teams.
- Dig deep into complex and critical problems until resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct architectural reviews to help guide and shape Webflow’s technology stack.
- Mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
