Requirements
- Expertise in architecting and developing microservices and cloud-native solutions.
- Strong programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, or Java.
- Deep experience in API design and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code).
- Proven track record of designing systems, interfaces, and contracts consumed by multiple teams.
- Strong, hands-on AWS expertise including compute (e.g., EKS), networking, IAM, and managed data stores.
- Understanding of CICD strategies and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with data modeling, exploration, and visualization at scale.
- Proven track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives.
- Familiarity with modern observability and test strategies in cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and resilient platform services, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Own architecture for complex, cross-cutting systems and define the interfaces and contracts other teams depend on.
- Provide technical oversight and lead design for complex projects that span multiple teams.
- Review functional and technical requirements to identify gaps and limitations, propose simplifications, and communicate ideas effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and coach engineers, promoting best practices in security, operational excellence, and cloud-native development.
- Contribute to platform-wide initiatives, aligning technical strategy with business goals across BeyondTrust.
- Drive quality, observability, and performance across the services your team owns.
- Help resolve ambiguity to ensure work is properly defined, scoped, and sequenced.
