Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college.
- Alternatively: High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years of Wind industry experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time, including international travel.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Project management skills with experience in coordination and change management.
- Strong proficiency in technical writing and process documentation.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
- Self-starter capability with the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Blade Repair Engineering or hands-on troubleshooting experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Global Wind Services OM&U and Wind Engineering for blade repair programs.
- Lead global validations and beta testing of new tooling and process products, including logistics and data collection.
- Develop and execute action plans following product validations and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
- Establish global training requirements, build curricula, and lead training sessions for new blade repair products.
- Manage full operational deployment including cost/benefit alignment, procurement, and maintenance protocols.
- Provide technical direction and off-hour support for emergent issues to ensure safety and quality standards.
- Drive lean efforts through Kaizens and the development of new standards to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
