Requirements
- Active insurance licensing.
- Proven expertise in managing complex liability claims.
- Experience investigating and settling large-loss claims.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Competency in reviewing coverages and determining liability.
- Proficiency in setting reserves for liability claims.
- Experience supporting litigation preparation with defense counsel.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and settle advanced, large-loss, and complex claims promptly and equitably.
- Work within established authority on moderate-to-difficult claims under minimal supervision.
- Review coverages and determine liability and compensability.
- Secure necessary information and arrange property damage appraisals.
- Evaluate and set reserves using independent judgment.
- Assist supervisors and defense attorneys in preparing cases for litigation.
- Support team development by conducting training and mentoring new hires.
