Requirements
- 12-18 months of directly related experience.
- 1+ years of Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty experience.
- 1+ years of Attorney Represented experience.
- Demonstrated competency in legal liability, insurance policy coverage, and State Tort Law.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Reliable attendance and active engagement during mandatory training.
Responsibilities
- Manage, investigate, and resolve claims including evaluating coverage, liability, and damages within authority levels.
- Identify suspicious claims for SIU referral and pursue third-party subrogation opportunities.
- Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences, reporting statuses to management.
- Confer with trial counsel and prepare comprehensive trial reports.
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information.
- Ensure adequacy of reserves and maintain security of financial processing and claim files.
- Manage the practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.
