Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience developing data models, pipelines, and analytical solutions.
- Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL (window functions, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning).
- Experience with healthcare claims data (e.g., EDI 837/835, CMS datasets, Komodo, MarketScan).
- Experience with data modeling for OLAP and OLTP workflows.
- Proficiency in ETL/ELT workflows and orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Understanding of object-oriented and functional programming patterns.
- Experience designing systems for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including automated testing and version control.
- Experience working in a remote-first, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines to process raw claims data into enriched, standardized formats.
- Develop automated observability and monitoring systems for data quality.
- Produce privacy-preserving datasets and ensure protection of PHI and PII.
- Draft technical design documentation and specifications.
- Solicit and prioritize technical and product feedback from internal customers.
