- Healthcare experience (medical billing or provider reimbursement) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized administrative support activities for audit engagements, including file management, data organization, documentation, and workflow coordination.
- Respond to claim status inquiries and assist with resolving escalated claim questions in collaboration with internal teams.
- Generate, organize, and analyze reports containing claim details for internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Manage claim work queues, tagging activities, and data entry processes while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review and proof claim information to verify calculations, documentation, wording, totals, and other key variables before submission.
- Maintain productivity standards by following established processes, procedures, and departmental guidelines.
- Monitor work quality by validating accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues affecting performance or service delivery.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying workflow challenges and communicating opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to advocate resolutions and support provider-focused outcomes.
