Requirements
- 5–8+ years of backend engineering experience, including experience working at a senior level.
- Strong proficiency in Python with proven experience building distributed applications.
- Deep understanding of database modeling and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful services, API architecture, and backend system design.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS for deployment, infrastructure, and scaling.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in product-driven environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems using Python.
- Build and optimize database models and data solutions across technologies such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Design and implement APIs and backend services supporting mobile and web applications.
- Develop reliable infrastructure solutions using cloud technologies, containers, and orchestration tools.
- Own the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Improve system performance, security, scalability, and availability through effective engineering practices.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and design teams to deliver complete end-to-end features.
- Contribute to technical decisions around architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to improve team capabilities.
- Participate in building a strong engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and continuous learning.
