Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process complex Life insurance claims by analyzing medical records, contract language, and supporting documentation to determine accurate and timely payment or denial decisions.
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and written correspondence by resolving inquiries, explaining claim determinations, and handling escalated issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and federal/state regulations while maintaining high levels of accuracy, productivity, and quality.
- Collaborate with internal teams, legal, underwriting, and special investigations to support claim resolution, process improvements, training initiatives, and service delivery enhancements.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making, communication, adaptability, and relationship-building skills while maintaining a customer-first focus.
