Requirements
- Strong professional experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL/data transformation processes.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend service architecture.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with background job processing (Sidekiq, Resque, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services.
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data integration and reporting.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to create maintainable, reusable, and testable code.
- Optimize database queries and application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver new features.
- Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Contribute to system architecture and continuous improvement initiatives.
