Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience mapping, scrubbing, and cleaning data related to HEDIS and/or risk adjustment.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a managed care organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft T-SQL, Databricks SQL, and Power BI.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries, functions, and procedures.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Hadoop.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Capture and document health plan quality reporting requirements and build custom reports.
- Develop intervention strategy reporting to track HEDIS performance and measure gap closure.
- Build ad hoc quality reports for medical claims, pharmacy, and lab data.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and data mining on large organizational data sets.
- Analyze data trends for anomalies and opportunities using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
- Collaborate on testing pre-production reporting and data warehouse upgrades.
- Serve as a HEDIS subject matter expert to support performance improvement projects.
