Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced-level SQL expertise with daily hands-on experience in building complex queries and database indexing.
- Proven experience with Snowflake or an equivalent modern cloud data warehouse.
- Advanced proficiency in an object-oriented or functional language such as Python, Java, C++, or Scala.
- Experience building production-grade reports and interactive dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Strong ability to perform root-cause analysis across processes and datasets.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented mindset with a strong ownership and problem-solving drive.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand analytics needs and pipeline requirements.
- Translate complex stakeholder requirements into detailed technical engineering documentation.
- Assess existing data architectures and define optimal strategies for delivering business insights.
- Identify and execute critical data transformations to refine raw data into production-ready datasets.
- Gather, model, and aggregate large and complex datasets.
- Design, build, and optimize complex SQL queries and scalable data pipelines.
- Develop intuitive reports, data visualizations, and interactive dashboards.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on data sources and pipelines to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Design, build, and deploy scalable data warehousing solutions using Snowflake or equivalent cloud platforms.
