Requirements

  • 5-8 years of UX/UI design experience with a portfolio demonstrating craft and research rigor.
  • Proven experience designing for eCommerce or DTC web environments, including subscription flows and checkout optimization.
  • Hands-on qualitative research experience (planning and moderating user interviews and usability tests).
  • Proficiency with Figma for design, prototyping, and handoff.
  • Experience maintaining a shared design system or component library.
  • Familiarity with session recording and heatmap tools (Noibu, Hotjar, FullStory, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted prototyping tools for building working prototypes.
  • Working knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation.
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to manage full customer journeys.
  • Strong communication skills to present design rationale to non-designers.
  • Expertise in responsive and mobile-first design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in User-Centered Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Own UX/UI design execution across Life360's DTC web surfaces, including subscription plan selectors, checkout flows, and onboarding flows.
  • Prototype and design A/B and multivariate tests, translating experiment hypotheses into testable design variants.
  • Map the full customer journey to identify friction, drop-off, and moments of delight.
  • Plan and moderate user interviews, usability sessions, and concept tests; synthesize findings into reports and design recommendations.
  • Synthesize qualitative signals and quantitative funnel data to build a prioritized design backlog.
  • Maintain and evolve the web design system, ensuring component consistency and accessibility standards.
  • Create detailed design specifications and collaborate with Engineering to ensure faithful implementation.
