Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in product management, digital platforms, or publishing technology.
- Proven experience developing and managing product strategies for complex digital products.
- Strong knowledge of publishing technologies, digital workflows, and industry trends.
- Experience managing product lifecycles, roadmaps, backlogs, and system enhancements.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
- Experience with electronic publishing platforms, peer review systems, or content management technologies.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with ownership.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain product roadmaps for publishing systems, prioritizing enhancements and development initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of workflow improvements, system configurations, and software updates.
- Manage product backlogs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities and deliver solutions.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure successful adoption of new features.
- Establish system quality assurance processes to identify performance issues and prevent regressions.
- Analyze usability data and system metrics to guide future product development.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including performance reviews and service agreements.
