Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience managing industrial projects, preferably involving software implementation, automation, process control, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience delivering projects within manufacturing or process industries such as cement, chemicals, refining, mining, pulp and paper, or similar sectors.
- Proven ability to manage international, multidisciplinary, and remote technical teams.
- Strong customer-facing project management experience with demonstrated stakeholder relationship-building skills.
- Excellent planning, organization, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Experience creating project plans, schedules, progress reports, and risk management documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ownership-driven and proactive approach.
- Professional fluency in English is required.
- Willingness to travel regularly to industrial sites across the United States and Latin America, with occasional international travel for coordination and training.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of industrial software implementation projects across North America and Latin America, from project kickoff through successful deployment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating communication between client teams, partners, and internal technical resources.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation strategies, and risk mitigation approaches.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, data science, customer success, and external stakeholders.
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, scope, schedule, and delivery objectives are achieved.
- Facilitate regular project reviews, status meetings, reporting activities, and stakeholder updates.
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks, dependencies, blockers, and operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, action plans, meeting records, decisions, and risk registers.
- Support on-site implementation activities at manufacturing facilities, ensuring effective project governance and customer engagement.
- Contribute to the improvement of project delivery processes, methodologies, and regional capabilities.
