Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years managing projects or project teams.
- At least 3 years of experience working in IT-related roles or supporting technology-focused initiatives.
- Proven experience managing project plans, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience implementing software, hardware, healthcare technology, or digital health solutions.
- Strong understanding of laboratory informatics, LIS platforms, healthcare workflows, and technology integrations preferred.
- Experience with laboratory information systems such as EPIC Beaker, Cerner, Meditech, Sunquest, Soft, or similar platforms is highly valued.
- Knowledge of laboratory middleware, interface connectivity, automation workflows, and diagnostic technologies preferred.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead digital health, laboratory informatics, and healthcare technology implementation projects from initial planning through deployment and completion.
- Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating communication between customers, internal teams, and external partners.
- Partner with customer IT departments and laboratory stakeholders to support LIS integrations, connectivity projects, and workflow improvements.
- Manage project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, issues, and change requests to ensure successful delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource strategies, risk mitigation approaches, and contingency plans.
- Coordinate implementations involving laboratory information systems, diagnostic instruments, automation solutions, middleware applications, and digital health technologies.
- Facilitate regular project reviews, status updates, and stakeholder communications to maintain alignment.
- Track project progress against commitments, milestones, revenue objectives, and customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within project management systems.
- Ensure projects comply with quality requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
