Requirements
- 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and Spark runtime internals.
- Working knowledge of at least two common cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
- Knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models, and AI APIs.
- Ability to design and deploy performant end-to-end data architectures.
- Strong technical project delivery skills, including managing scope, timelines, and outcomes.
- Experience working with enterprise clients and managing broad stakeholder ranges.
- Ability to travel to customer sites up to 20% of the time.
- Documentation and white-boarding skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead impactful customer technical projects by delivering production-grade systems and custom applications.
- Design and build reference architectures and integrate ML/AI models within client environments.
- Guide strategic customers on architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks platform.
- Own architecture and design decisions to ensure scalable and secure production solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customer stakeholders to scope and deliver technical projects successfully.
- Contribute to the creation of accelerators, frameworks, and best practices for broader scale.
