Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building or testing production software.
- Fluency in C# or a comparable programming language.
- Proven experience owning end-to-end automation at scale using Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Strong practical use of AI coding tools with a formed perspective on their application.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining risks and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of API testing, including Postman and REST fundamentals.
- Experience with SQL and data validation.
- Familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience authoring CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and Jira-based workflows.
Responsibilities
- Test new features hands-on, embedded in an agile team, using manual and exploratory testing.
- Design, build, and evolve end-to-end UI automation using Playwright in C#/.NET.
- Build API test suites and integrate them into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI tools such as Claude Code to write and maintain tests while maintaining verification standards.
- Reproduce, root-cause, and report failures, partnering with engineers to verify fixes.
- Shape test strategy by making risk-based decisions on automation versus exploratory testing.
