Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation and framework development.
- Expert programming skills with ability to write production-quality test code in TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch, preferably Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Comfort and judgment using AI/LLM-assisted tooling to accelerate test creation.
- Strong understanding of API and real-time testing, including RESTful services and WebSockets.
- Solid grasp of React/TypeScript frontend and C#/.NET backend architectures.
- CI/CD experience integrating tests into deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Proven ability to design test strategies balancing coverage and maintenance overhead.
- Strong full-stack debugging skills covering frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Drive test automation across API, UI, and end-to-end systems, balancing coverage, execution time, and maintenance cost.
- Extend and curate AI-assisted test-generation tooling to produce broad, verification-focused coverage.
- Build and maintain scalable test frameworks and infrastructure that run in CI/CD for order lifecycles and market-data streams.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define testability requirements and quality standards early.
- Triage test failures, maintain low flakiness, and surface quality metrics to the engineering team.
- Mentor engineers and SDETs on automation patterns, non-functional testing, and quality-first mindsets.
