Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 15+ years leading enterprise SAP data migration workstreams.
- At least 4 full-lifecycle S/4HANA programs delivered end-to-end.
- Experience running the data workstream from inside a major System Integrator followed by client-side advisory work.
- Deep hands-on experience migrating from non-SAP sources into SAP.
- Full-scope enterprise migration experience spanning Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM, SD, PP, WM), HR/HCM, Plant Maintenance/EAM, and Master Data.
- Working expertise across multiple migration toolsets.
- Deep understanding of S/4HANA data models, business partner concept, universal journal, and material ledger.
- Strong grounding in data migration methodology including ETL design, staging strategies, reconciliation, cutover, and hypercare.
- Hands-on experience with at least one regulated-industry framework (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or FedRAMP).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued clearance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the client-side senior authority on SAP data migration and face off to the System Integrator's data lead.
- Review and challenge the System Integrator's data migration approach to mitigate risk, cost, and operational burden.
- Advise on migration architecture, source-to-target data model translation, and tooling selection for greenfield S/4HANA migrations.
- Manage day-to-day execution coordination of the client-side data workstream and maintain the migration task plan.
- Set and monitor data cleansing standards and quality thresholds to ensure fit for go-live.
- Organize and track mock load cycles and review reconciliation results.
- Ensure data migration compliance with data classification policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the data migration cutover plan and coordinate extraction and load scheduling.
- Provide independent risk assessment and readiness inputs to program leadership for go/no-go decisions.
