Requirements
- Extensive software engineering experience in large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture, preferably in a SaaS product environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading the transition from a monolithic architecture to cloud-native microservices.
- Experience with multi-cloud, multi-region, and multi-tenant solutions.
- Proficiency in Java (primary) and/or Go.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
- Strong technical communication skills to influence direction across stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging agentic engineering tools and LLMs across the SDLC is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current monolithic architecture to identify pain points and design iterative improvements.
- Lead the design and development of a scalable, maintainable, and operationally excellent microservices ecosystem.
- Collaborate with departments to evaluate and implement tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Write high-quality, production-ready code primarily using Java.
- Mentor engineers, contribute to professional growth, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Partner with global teams including product, design, quality, and DevOps/Infra to align on objectives and execution strategies.
