Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in eDiscovery or legal technology domains.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Relativity custom development, APIs, data models, and workflows.
- Proven experience as a founding or lead engineer on greenfield product development.
- Strong command of modern web application architecture, including cloud infrastructure and APIs.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale data ingestion, processing, and transformation pipelines.
- Experience with desktop-to-web migrations, including architectural patterns and performance.
- Experience building integrations with Reveal RDM processing platforms.
- Experience handling mobile forensic data, including format variability and metadata complexity.
- Startup mindset with an ability to operate in ambiguous environments.
- Experience introducing modern engineering practices like CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering on the replatforming of a suite of eDiscovery tools, including architecture, infrastructure, data modeling, and integrations.
- Architect and build the migration of analytics tools from desktop to modern web platforms, including ingestion pipelines for email and mobile data.
- Drive the technical evolution of document review tools, integrating with Relativity via API.
- Establish engineering foundations including CI/CD, testing, deployment practices, and security posture.
- Partner with Product Management to sequence work, scope complexity, and surface technical trade-offs.
- Build and grow the engineering team through hiring and mentoring while cultivating engineering culture.
