Requirements

At least 7-10 years of writing and editing in a digital newsroom.
Experience in business journalism is preferred.
Deep knowledge, experience, and sourcing in the accounting field.
Working knowledge of SEO best practices.
Ability to confidently turn complicated or large datasets into clean, compelling consumer storylines.
Familiarity with analytics and research methods (formulas, survey design, statistical analysis).
Highly skilled in working with spreadsheets and business data sources like Hoovers and Dun & Bradstreet.
Commitment to detail, deadlines, and maintaining an editorial calendar.
People leadership experience with demonstrated ability managing staff and freelance writers.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

Build high-quality, revenue-generating lists by designing quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
Manage the editorial process from creation to publication, including analysis, reporting, writing, and editing.
Collaborate with Marketing, Growth, Revenue, and SEO stakeholders to align content strategy.
Spearhead the creation of new "best-of" lists and accounting industry rankings.
Oversee the full editorial lifecycle, including gathering nominations and securing external partners.
Write, assign, and edit high-impact articles and profiles across multi-channel platforms.
Represent the brand as the primary "voice and face" to industry leaders and external partners.
